School is a miniature of society. Each child has right to know culture and tradition of various religions of the world. The great monk from India, Swami Vivekanda rightly said that young men and women should possess the qualities of physical, intellectual , religious and spiritual abilities. School is a place where children can learn and understand all these essential qualities. To bring out these awareness among the students, we organized Krinshna Janmastami Progarmme on 24-08-2016 during assemble hours . The students from IX B section performed a skit based on the theme –Krishna – A symbol of kindness, love and protector of The universe. Students had read out the importance of Krinshna Janmasatami Celebrations.
The Tiny tots of Gurukula participated in fancy dress competition of Radha and Krinshna. Their scrummy and naughty steps on the stage was the centre of attraction during the celebrations. Our Joint Managing Trustees , Shri Subhas Chandra Shetty and Smt. Anupama S. Shetty presided the programme and The Principal of Gurukula Public School, Shri Shaiju Nair gave us valuable message about Krishna and his universal brotherhood.
