A vision of making each child as an All Rounder

Sports and games are the key factors for the all round development of students. “Talent wins the games, but team work and intelligence wins championship.” Sports day is a platform to showcase the talent and efforts put by the children make it a successful event.

13th Annual sports meet conducted on 17/11/2018 at our school ground. Each child of the school and college took part in this sports meet. It is not just an event but it is about having fun, being physically active, and learning the skills of sports and building the co-ordination and motor-skills. It also gives the children an opportunity to display their self confidence, patience, zeal and sportsmanship.

The sports meet was inaugurated by Shri B.P. Dinesh Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Kundapur. Joint Managing Trustees of Bhandya Educational Trust Shri. Subhashchandra Shetty and Smt. Anupama S Shetty, the Principal of Gurukula Public School, Shri. Aravind V Marali and The Principal of Gurukula PU College, Father Sunny John graced the occasion. The programme begin with a welcome speech followed by Guard of honor, Afterwards all the four houses presented their march past, drills, karate and other eye-catching program’s and won the heart of audience as they swayed and exhibited their inner skills.

The Guest of Honor Shri. B.P. Dinesh Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Kundapur. Congratulated the shining stars of schools and college and appreciated the entire school for their meticulous planning and execution of the events. Further the budding sports (finalist) participated in their respective events with full of energy and vigor.

Students were delighted to receive their certificates, medals and trophy’s. The young sports achievers were awarded with medals gold, silver and bronze by our Joint Managing Trustees Shri. Subhashchandra Shetty and Smt. Anupama S shetty. They inspired ever child with wishing work. The two week long journey of 13th Annual Sports Day Celebration Successfully completed. The Principal of the School and College thanked everyone for making the event a successful one.
